We’re Back From Bridal Fashion Week–Here’s What We Found

Did you know that the dresses in our stores all start on the runway? That’s right! Every year Bobbie and Bucky, the owners of USA Bridal, and their buying team jet set off to Chicago for National Bridal Market where all of your favorite bridal designers showcase their latest collections. They go to all the fashion shows and sort through thousands (literally thousands) of gowns, dresses, and tuxes to bring you the best of the best. So, here’s what they found this year…

Lots of Lace

For the past few years, lace took a back seat to modern minimalist designs, but it’s back in a big way and we’re loving it! From large oversized motifs to delicate beaded Chantilly lace, and even lace with a touch of color, you name it, we saw it (and it won’t be long till you can try it on!). 

Detachable Sleeves

These babies are still very much having a moment. Designers continue to play with all of the possibilities–off-the-shoulder draping, billowy princess sleeves made from every type of fabric you can imagine, and sleeves with structure. With all of the possibilities, you could seriously have three looks for the price of one!

Structured Corsets

When we say corsets are trending hard, we mean HARD. Every single collection featured some type of exposed corsetry like boning or bra cups, and it’s easy to see why. The designs are feminine and romantic and the fit is UNREAL–just wait until you try them on! These babies hug your curves in all the right places, keep you supported, and thanks to new innovations in stretch fabric, you can actually move and breathe.
