Let's Suit Up
At USA Bridal’s Tuxedo Avenue, we specialize in all things menswear. Whether you’re shopping for a wedding, prom, or your professional wardrobe a good suit or tux never goes out of style. But, as it is in all areas of fashion, there are certainly trends. So, let's go over exactly what you should look for in a suit, which trends are worth the hype, and which suits are worth investing in. From the shirt and suit to the accessories, we’ll help you put your entire look together. We’ll also make sure the fit is on point!
What’s Trending For Weddings
When it comes to wedding looks for men, we’re seeing two very distinct trends. Couples are either going all in on a black-tie formal experience or leaning into a more laid back, yet still chic, affair. For black-tie weddings, a tuxedo is the only way to go and it really doesn’t get any cooler than our slim-fit black tuxedo options. Pair one of these babies with some black velvet loafers and DONE! For suits, you can’t go wrong with one of our stunning neutral pieces like gray or navy, but if you really want to make a statement, cobalt blue is having a moment.
If you went neutral with your suit, accessories are always a good way to add in a touch of color. For fall and winter weddings, wine is very popular. We’re seeing a lot of ballet pink for spring and summer weddings and we probably have Barbie to thank for that. For a color that just teeters on neutral and can work for any season, sage is the answer.
Let’s Talk Prom
Believe it or not, prom suit and tux trends are totally different from what’s in for weddings. For prom, it’s all about making a statement. All of the prom goers are currently obsessed with our paisley coats. They’re available in a ton of different colors so you can coordinate with your date if you’d like. Our most popular colors are the black and gold paisley and forest green paisley. We’re also noticing a lot of people selecting a timeless slim-fit black tux for prom which is always a safe choice but the slim fit gives it a subtle edge.
